On 08.19.2014, for World Humanitarian Day, 38 employees from Sustainanalytics offices from Timisoara and Bucharest volunteered for Missio Link International Foundation at Deborah House Center. For 8 hours, the volunteers did some repair work to one central building, cleaned the strawberry plantation and together with the girls who reside here and the staff, they helped pick vegetables from the greenhouses and canned vegetables for the winter. After their fruitful work, the DHC storage room now has about 100 kg of eggplant “zacusca” – a vegetable Romanian spread , over 100 jars of vegetables for the winter, the jars with pickles are ready, eggplants and baked peppers are in the freezer.
