On 2nd to 9th  of July 2017, we were happy to have with us our friends from the United States,  a team with members from  two churches, Mount Bethel United Methodist Church and 1st Baptist Church of Woodstock.

Every week the girls at Deborah House learned how to help others and the US team was able to show this in a practical way by participating in the renovation project of Deborah 2, together with the girls.

Besides discussions, crafts, games and a good mood, we enjoyed spending an outdoor day visiting the Zoological Garden in Timisoara, where we were glad to see animals and play with them, but also to learn about the history of the Romanian people at the Village Museum.

The team also had a chance to meet the girls from the Juvenile Reeducation Center in Buzias  and also had a meeting at the Mom’s School in Recas, where they had a special time sharing encouraging stories and taught the girls and the moms some fun craft activities.

It was a wonderful time filled with a lot of enthusiasm and joy. Thanks to the United States team who brought a smile on our faces and helped us have a joyful time!
