Evening tea at Carturesti

Last night volunteers from United Way invited some of the girls from Aspirations who work or have qualification in a field for an “evening tea” and open, interactive discussions about each one (volunteers and girls), about interests, aspirations and careers. The event took place in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere hosted by the Carturesti bookstore.

Celebrations @ Deborah House

Saturday, July 12th, we had multiple celebrations at Deborah House. We were visited by a group of people from Northern Ireland, including our dear friends Mr. & Mrs. Barnes. They had been at Alpinis for a week organizing a camp for children and teenagers from three villages.

Friends from Norway visiting us

Pastor Eugen Groza’s life-long friends from Norway visited us on July 11th. Tove Oddny Lea Reime and her family met the girls and were acquainted with the Deborah Houses and their surroundings. It was a joy to witness how God brings people together from all over the world.
