Between May 15 -18, Missio Link International organized its spring Church Based Leadership Development intensive training for women. About 28 women from six different areas of Romania: Fetesti, Câ mpina, Sibiu, Timisoara, Carpinis and Slobozia, came at Alpinis for a time of study, fellowship, and spiritual renewal. The theme of the Conference was: “Trauma Healing” – a study about how to deal with spiritual and emotional trauma in your life and how to help others to deal with it. The main speaker this Spring was our dear friend and long time partner in ministry Mrs. Stephanie Moore from Memphis TN. Stephanie invited Miss. Renne Flory, a USA missionary in Ukraine to help leading the seminars. Stephanie was accompanied by her husband, Mr. John Moore, one of Missio International Board Members. Stephanie and Renne did a wonderful job in leading the seminars; God was at work and everyone was touched and challenged by God through their teaching.
Please take a few minutes and watch here why Mrs. Stephanie Moore choose this theme for the training.
Happy to share with you a few testimonies of the participants.
“The first time I was asked to talk about my traumatic experiences, I felt they were closed and hidden inside and it was difficult to open up. Then I understood more and more that Jesus took all our wounds on the cross and through His resurrection we were set free. It helped me very much that I could put on paper all of my pain and see it being symbolically burned. The image of being set free through forgiveness was so meaningful for me. I thank God for the relief that I felt and for a new beginning.” – Marina Barac, Sibiu
“The teaching, fellowship, communion, the experience and love I got to experience, have made me determined to revise my moral conduct, to reconsider the priorities in my life, a life that I was able again, through this training, to lay down at the foot of Jesus’s cross. The pain has not disappeared completely, but the faith in the power of God’s love has become so real for me!” – Marta Toader ,Timisoara
“This week was so full of healing for my soul that has gone through so many problems. I feel a relief that I needed for a long time. This week I realized I have to listen to God whispering to my heart and be ready to forgive the people who have done me wrong.” – Grama Georgeta, Fetesti
“I always believed that I have never experienced deep wounds in my life, but this week I got the chance to search deeper in my soul and I discovered that I did have wounds and not just a few. I am convinced that this conference will help me know how to help others who have gone through trauma and do not know how to overcome them.” – Raluca Stoian, Slobozia
