MLI Pastors’ Families Conference 2013

Dear Friends of MLI,

Between September 02 – 06, 2013 MLI organized her annual Pastor’s Family Conference at Rina – Sinaia hotel in Sinaia, located in southern Carpathian mountains of Romania. It was a great time of spiritual encouragement and physical rest for all of us; a time of sweet fellowship between friends and col-leagues, a time of good teaching and challenges from the Word of God. This year God blessed us again with some won-derful teachers of His Word; Pastor Sam & Sue Polson. Pastor Sam is the Senior Pastor of West Park Baptist Church – Knox-ville TN, a wonderful teacher of the Word of God and a long time friend and partner of MLI. Both of them did a great job in teaching us and challenging us from the Word of God. The theme of the conference for men was: “Renewed disciples for renewed ministry”, and for women was: “Helping Others, Kneeling for Others, Looking for Others.” challenging, very practical and much needed subjects. Many pastors recognized they are waiting for MLI conference the whole year, since it is the only time of the year when they can afford to be away from home with their wives . I thank you all so much for your generosity, prayers and love. Thank you for making this spe-cial time a reality for us once again. I wish you could be with us to hear the deep appreciation of so many pastors and their wives. The Conference this year was one of the largest we ev-er had, about 64 pastors and most of their wives. Once again this was possible because of your love and generosity. I am so thankful and overwhelmed by God’s grace and your love; even it is such a crises all over the world you continue to be extremely generous so we were able to have such a great ex-perience at the conference. Please take few minutes to read the thoughts of some of the pastor’s who participate in our conference:

MLI Pastors’ Conference was a special one. Coming from Serbia where the evangelical believers are a minority, tolerated by the government but unrecognized officially, there’s no better place than this to refresh one’s soul and understand better the essen-tials for Christian life. Although our hearts are filled with gratitude, it is hard to find the right words to express correctly the spiritual benefit from this Conference. A day before the beginning of MLI conference I prayed and asked God to speak to my heart. I was tired and frustrated in my ministry and I was in a big need to hear a word from the Lord. Each day of the conference God had a fresh word special for me and my needs. Through Pastor Sam, God spoke to me directly and I am leaving the conference with a deeper trust in God, a stronger desire to love Him and serve His people.
