After too long, both us and the girls found an excuse to see each other for dinner. We used the meeting to congratulate Alice as she graduated University with a 9.60 average and received a scholarship for a Master degree in Timisoara and an Erasmus scholarship in Portugal. Congratulations Alice, we are proud of you and so the number of girls who were at Deborah House and
have completed University rose to 3.
It was not hard to organize the event at which 17 girls could come out of which 5 came with their children. We were glad to see Florica’s girl who is already a pupil, as we were happy to find out that Adela, Alina and Simona will soon be mothers.
We had a wonderful evening in the company of 17 young women who found the strength to turn pain into freedom, who had the courage to fight and to follow
their dream and today are young fulfilled women, and the peace in their eyes is the accomplishment of 14 years of work at Deborah House.
