This year at Easter we enjoyed the visit of our dear friends Sharon Craig and Heather Garrett from Northern Ireland. They spent time with the girls from Deborah House preparing Easter desserts and specialty food and learning our habits. They also had a special time together bowling and dining at the mall.
The second day of Easter, more than 200 children, beneficiaries of our programs, attended the event “Easter for all”. The event was the sixteenth edition and is held every year in partnership with Bethel Baptist Church in Timisoara. After a worship service in which children and young people from the projects Deborah House, Aspirations, Back to School and Harmony sang and recited poems and verses from the Bible, they had a Romanian traditional meal for Easter.
