For May 1st, the girls from Deborah House had fun having a barbecue and celebrated birthdays, including one of the girls who turned 18 years old.Saturday, May 9th, United Way volunteers came to meet the girls and to learn about Deborah House. The visit initiated a tutoring program that will be held weekly regarding educational activities with girls (Romanian and English classes). Also, the high-school girls with the ones from Aspirations had the opportunity to attend a workshop on the topic of career development and work integration. Thank you all for your willingness and effort to dedicate part of their time to our beneficiaries.
