Theology Workshops

At the beginning of November, at Alpinis, we launched the first edition of a new MLI program: Theology Workshops. Over the course of several days, participants developed their tools for in-depth study of biblical texts and strengthened their ability to turn exegesis into clear and relevant sermons. The workshop, led by Radu Gheorghita, professor and doctoral advisor at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (USA), walked participants through the essential steps of exegesis and preaching.

Each participant worked on their own sermon series, benefiting from Professor Gheorghita’s guidance and from the group’s feedback. Based on the experience of this pilot edition, we plan to continue the Workshops program on Biblical Theology and Expository Preaching and to launch additional workshops, on historical and dogmatic theology and on applied theology, in order to meet the needs of church ministers.

The purpose of the theology workshops coordinated by Florin Iosub and Daniel Bulzan, is to provide the right environment, resources, teaching, and supervision to support the development of spiritual workers and to increase the quality of their service.
