IMG-20151114-WA0012IMG-20151114-WA0010Reeducation is in fact a young man’s ability to return to society as an active member. We strongly believe that only through education any bad cycle that turns a child into a possible criminal can be interrupted. But education means more than acquiring certain competencies, it means the ability to use them and to be useful. In this context, in November in the Harmony program in partnership with CRM Buzias we started a new project in which young men and women that are admitted in the reeducation center, would gain social and socialization skills.

The project started with the visit of a group of 8 girls from Buzias to Deborah House. The hosts along with our volunteers taught the girls at Deborah House how to crochet and make Christmas cards for their guest, and they also cooked. The following activities in the project were trips to Voiteg and Otelul Rosu where the young people socialized with others of their own age. Twice a month Rodica Racovicean with our volunteers will teach the girls at Buzias how to cook and gain other skills as future housewives, mothers and wives.
