Even without snow, Christmas vacation was a dream for girls from Deborah House. Many warmhearted people gave them their sincere appreciation and love. Seemingly small gestures made the girls feel special, and they are, but haven’t been shown too often.
Games with UWRO and Raiffeisen Bank Timisoara: POLI Timisoara Supporters’ Association funded a lunch at Grill Sarbesc and afternoon games at Iulius Mall. The girls were excited, took pictures of the Christmas tree. At the games, each girl received game chips and played various virtual games for children: driving cars, raffle prizes (one of the girls won a football), Foosball, etc. After the meal, we took a picture with the sponsors and we talked about what they do to at the Association, and the girls talked about their favorite football teams. Many of them said they are POLI Timisoara fans. It was a time when they felt good, laughed a lot and joy was spread. At the end the girls thanked the sponsors and they promised us some seats in the stands at the upcoming matches of POLI Timisoara.
‘The Little Prince’ for the girls from Deborah House:
The newspaper Evenimentul Zilei through our good friend Georgeta Petrovici (journalist) invited all the girls from Deborah House to the recently launched animation The Little Prince.
For the cinema experience to be complete, we also had popcorn and sodas. The girls were excited about the film, the beautiful story, and many of them were for the first time in a cinema.
