On October 17th and 18th, together with our partners, AIDRom and ANITP Timis Regional Center, we celebrated the European Day against Human Trafficking. The event on the 17th consisting was an instrumental concert performed by various artists, including two voluntarees of Missio Link International, Evelyn Toader and Debbie Birgean.
After the concert, t
he children from the Deborah House Center, prepared a puppet show with the theme “Do not be deceived!” about the risks to which children are subjected to and ways of prevention regarding human trafficking. The 10 girls involved in the play managed to convey to the audience formed of children and adults a clear, useful message.
On October 18th, at Iulius Mall another event took place – to encourage public awareness by distributing flyers and again presenting the puppet show. Both the girls from Deborah House and our volunteers have done an excellent job and we thank them!
